Evil Geniuses bid farewell to roca, BRANTED and Temperature
Evil Geniuses released Daniel “roca” Gustaferri, Brandon “BRANTED” Ballard, and Nolan “Temperature” Pepper from VALUABLE North American organization revealed yesterday.
This makes EG work VALUABLE the squad consisted of only two players — Kelden “Boostio” Pupello and Mike “pho” Panza. Temperature joined North America in January 2021 and played his last game for EG in August, was loaned to Gen.G in September, and played in the Last Chance Qualifier for the team.
On the other hand, BRANTED and roca have been playing for EG since June 2021, when the organization rebuilt its roster for the first time, keeping only Temperature and Christine “potter” Chi. The latter will move into the head coach position in August, when EG leaves the mixed-gender roster in VALUABLE.
The players left EG without any achievements. The team struggled throughout 2021, unable to win an event. Their best result was runner-up at VALUABLE Midwest Showdown in December.
VCT 2022 is expected to kick off on January 27, leaving little time for EG to come up with a new roster. For now, it’s unclear if Boostio and pho will stay or if they’ll also leave the list.
