Some images need some additional work. We needed to get pictures of Ernie and Leia from The Washington Post’s photo archive, and I had to paint specific parts of their faces with different colors. The Leia photo was especially difficult to work with because it was originally just a black and white photo, so I needed to colorize it as best as I could and then make her hair bright red so you understand that. is not her normal hair color. The original river photo was just a meandering black stream with no other illustrations, and by itself would be too vague for an image, so I added grass and trees in Photoshop to help you figure it out. more clearly understood. I also painted olives by hand using a separate stock picture of olives as a reference. That blue pope’s face is also something I’m working on, as the original emblem was just a cap. I don’t think that’s enough for you to clearly identify the image as a pope, but again, hopefully my Pope Smurfs cartoon doesn’t confuse you into thinking who it is. that or something else.
