England basketball final: schedule and ticket prices

Here are all the details ahead of this year’s BBL and WBBL Play-Off Finals.

The British capital will once again host the British Basketball League this weekend in one of the sport’s biggest events of the year.

The final will see the top two teams of the Great Britain Men’s and Women’s Basketball League vie for one of the most prestigious trophies in basketball.

The highly anticipated finale is expected to feature up to 15,000 fans as some of the country’s best basketball players compete, along with plenty of entertainment besides music and cheerleaders.

Here’s everything you need to know about this weekend’s blockbuster double.

When?

The Play-Off Finals will take place this weekend on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

02 in London will host the Finals.

4:15pm BBL Play-off Finals (Male)

How to get tickets

Tickets are available on the axs website, with a limit of six tickets per cardholder.

There are four different seating areas to choose from – Pepsi Max Deck, The Lounge, The Terrace and Virgin Money M Club.

Ticket prices range from £125 for stage side seats to £24 for C band seats, while children’s tickets are as cheap as £18.

Who is in the final?

The London Lions clinched their spot in the BBL Play-off Finals at the weekend following an incredible fourth-quarter performance against the Bristol Flyers.

They fell to the Play-Off final last year after losing to the Newcastle Eagles.

The Lions will face the Leicester Riders, who won convincingly over the Glasgow Rocks on Monday night.

Meanwhile, the Lions’ women’s team has also reached the Play-off Finals and will face Sevenoaks Suns.
