Endwalker Job Instructions Updated on FFXIV Website, Added Sage and Reaper

The wait for Final Fantasy XIVthe upcoming expansion of, Endwalker, is coming to an end, and players are eager to test the new content it will bring.

The developer revealed more information about the expansion’s contents on its official website earlier today. On top of the last patch notes, the developers have updated them all Endwalker’NS work instructions so players can get acquainted with them before discovering new jobs, Sage and Reaper, as well as new abilities at level 90.

Both new classes seem difficult to play at first, with unique mechanics and unusual gameplay compared to other combat jobs in the series. FFXIV. That’s why watching those tutorials before learning how to play them can be helpful for those who want to test them out after the expansion releases.

The tutorials allow players to read about all of their actions, characteristics, and mechanics. While it can be confusing reading about all of their capabilities without seeing them in action, it is helpful to understand how their unique gauges work. Endwalker.

Sage will be the first new healing work after Astrologian’s release with Heavensward in 2015. It will be the second barrier healer alongside Scholar, so institutions will at least want to test the class — even if they don’t want to make it their new main class.

Sage will be the most active healing work, using two different gauges. The first will power up their abilities, while the other, unlocked at level 45, will provide another resource for using abilities above normal energy.

To charge the gauge, the Sage will have to apply barriers to their allies and absorb damage. It will reinforce the need to predict enemy attacks to time fence capabilities and maximize their resources.

On the other hand, the Reaper is a melee DPS. They are often considered to be one of the hardest DPS jobs to master, especially in high profile missions, as they utilize multiple poses to maximize their damage. But Reaper won’t be of much use, which could allow the job to be more accessible to players who don’t normally play melee DPS jobs.

DPS will use three separate metrics – Soul, Shroud, and Death – which can be confusing at first glance. The Soul Gauge will be filled with kills, while the Shroud will require a combo, similar to Dragoon. The Death gauge, on the other hand, will allow the Reapers to do their deadliest combos and will be key to their spin at level 90.

On top of these new pages, all other jobs have been updated on FFXIV official site, will get new actions from level 80 to 90 and other tweaks to keep good synergy with other classes. Although they have been announced, those changes are final and will be introduced to the public Endwalker’s Patch 6.0 tomorrow.
