Encanto Song topped Frozen’s ‘Let It Go’ on Billboard

“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Disney’s Encanto soundtrack topped Frozen’s hit “Let It Go” on the Billboard charts.

Lin-Manuel Miranda has another hit song on her hands. Disney‘S latest cartoons, Encanto, rose to the top of the Billboard charts and became one of the most popular songs from frozen.

In the year 2021, Disney rescue Encanto, which became critically acclaimed. Encanto was the highest-grossing animated film of 2021 and won a Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature of 2021. To win, Encanto beat other notable Disney releases including Luca and Raya and the last dragon.

Fourth song on EncantoThe soundtrack to “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” adds to the film’s impressive list of awards. “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” has reached 29 million streams and 8,000 downloads sold, earning a new spot on the Billboard Hot 100 at number four. The Encanto track yes overcome frozenof “Let It Go” was Disney’s biggest hit from an animated film on the Billboard Hot 100. Back in 2014, frozen‘S “Let It Go” peaked at number 5 on the Billboard charts.

“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is credited to Adassa Beatriz, Maruo Castillo, Rhenzy Feliz, Carolina Gaitán, Dianne Guerrero and the cast of Encanto. It joins a shortlist of other Disney animated songs that have made the top five. The list includes Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle’s “A Whole New World” from Aladdin soundtrack, which peaked at number one in 1993, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” are from Lion King (which peaked at #4 in 1994), and “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas (reached 4th place in 1995).

EncantoThe hit tune of the song captures an important reveal in the film. As the only member of her family without the gift of magic, Mirabel embarks on a journey to save the house and the family’s magic. Mirabel quickly discovers a broken vision left behind by her uncle Bruno, who has not been seen by the family for a number of years. When her family learns of Mirabel’s investigation into Bruno, they warn her not to mention him by name and describe the gruesome events that led to his sudden disappearance in “We Don’t” Talk About Bruno.”

Despite its success, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” itself would not be eligible for an Academy Award, as Disney submitted “Dos Oruguitas” from the soundtrack. However, Encanto still has the opportunity to add to its list of awards at the Academy Awards. With the Golden Globe win, Encanto can go in the right direction follow the path of soul, which won two Academy Awards in 2021, including Best Animated Feature.
