ELM327 Identifier APK 1.14.19 (Android App)

Use this app to determine the actual ELM327 version you have, as a lot of fake Chinese adapters often falsely declare ELM327 compatibility.

The ELM327 identifier sends almost all available AT commands and shows what is supported according to the official ELM327 datasheet (up to firmware v2.2 and v2.3 experimental), so you can quickly check if the adapter declaration is correct or not or it’s a fake. adapter.
Some AT commands require a car connection with a specific protocol to work; To get comparable results, these commands are not tested by the application. The number of AT commands tested was 114.

HOW TO USE THE APP
1 – power on the ELM327 adapter (by car diagnostic interface or simply by power supply)
2 – if not done already, pair ELM327 adapter from android device bluetooth settings or ELM327 wifi connection with android device
3 – start the application and press the CONNECT button, select the connection type and finally select the paired ELM327 adapter
4 – after the correct connection, the automatic scan starts
5 – wait for the end of the scan and check the results on the screen, a white bar shows you which commands (above) should be supported
6 – tap RESULTS to show scan details and option to save results to internal SD card.
7 – option to press the RESCAN button if you want to verify the adapter again

IMPORTANT: a fake adapter doesn’t mean it won’t work with your apps.
