FromSoftware had one of its biggest launches of all time in Japan when elden ring nearing nearly 280,000 sales on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
As one of the most anticipated games of the year elden ring continue to its near perfect metacritical Result. The new Souls game has not only exceeded expectations in Japan alone, but also elden ring continues to peak on Steam and recently broke its own player record with well over 800,000 active players.

Elden Ring nearing 280,000 sales in Japan on PlayStation
According to a report by Famitsu, elden ring ranked first and second in software sales in Japan between February 21 and 27. Considering the title only launched on February 25th, that’s quite an impressive feat and should be selling a lot more by now.
