Elden Ring Seluvis’s Introduction: Where to Find Sellen the Sorceress

During Renna’s quest in the Elden Ring, Seluvis guides the player in finding the exiled witch Sellen. Unfortunately, the player gets a Seluvis Referral but no hint as to where Sellen can be found. Chances are, most players have been near her lair before, but it’s easy to miss.

Where is Sellen in the Elden Ring?

Elden Ring Sellen location map

Sellen is located at Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave, on the east side of the lake. The player needs to go there and find the stairs leading down to a cellar to get to her. This can be a little hard to spot, but having a few torches by the entrance will help spot it.

After exploring the Siofra River and meeting Blaidd there, the player will have to return to the Caria manor and talk to Seluvis to figure out their next move. He says his former students may know what’s stopping them from reaching Nokron, the Eternal City. He gives them Seluvis’s Introduction and sends them to find her.

However, before the player can meet her, they must face Mad Pumpkin Head. This boss is extremely easy if the player has passed through the manor to meet Renna. It still packs a punch, but its HP is low enough that just a few swipes can knock it down.

After smashing the Mad Pumpkin Head, the player can go through the door at the end of the room to meet Sellen. Present Seluvis’s Introduction to her, and she will introduce herself as an exile who used to reside at Raya Lucaria Academy. She would then provide the information needed to continue Renna’s quest. Apparently, one of the demigods has frozen the stars, and they need to move again for Nokrom to be revealed. Return to the Siofra River and tell Blaidd the news. Then get ready to head to Castle Redmane to confront General Radahn, Starscourge.
