USE ELDEN RING’S MIMIC’S VEIL IS A SURPRISINGLY EFFECTIVE PVP TRICK
The clip shows u/CjJcPro use the veil of facial expressions transforming into a spooky looking stag which allowed them to blend in with the snowy wildlife around them. However, the deer model lacked the typical animations elden ring Creature disguise worked perfectly in visiting PvPs. u/CjJcPro glides harmlessly past the two players without them getting any wiser.
Eventually, u/CjJcPro will drop the deer disguise to hit it with a surprise Rot Breath attack. Quickly chased by the two PvPers, u/CjJcPro manages to duck behind a rock and disguise himself again. After a series of additional Rot attacks, u/CjJcPro defeats the other two tainted ones. Surprisingly, neither of the other two players ever noticed the strange behavior of the “NPC” deer in front of them. As winners, u/CjJcPro leave their world.
WHERE TO FIND THE VEIL OF MIMIC
As well as being a clever stealthy item, the Mimic’s Veil is also a reusable key item. Key items are usually located at important story locations or on significant bosses. This particular item can only be found from Godrick the Grafted’s Legacy Dungeon, Stormveil Castle. The Mimic’s Veil allows players to transform into nearby objects for 6 FP – a small price to pay for PvP victory.
If you want to grab a mimic veil for yourself, go to the Keep tower north of Stormveil Keep. Navigate carefully around the Many armed Key Masters (or test your skills against it!) and climb the stairs to the second floor. If you fight or sneak past the enemies of the floor, you will reach a door to a room at the very top. Be warned – this room contains a Exiled Knight! If you defeat him, you can safely open the chests to find a Mimic’s Veil.
