Elden Ring came to PC and console a while ago, and fans are having a hard time beating Radahn and the Gargoyles.

While it was certainly one of the most hyped games in a while, the final product seems to have far exceeded what people expected. Yes, From Software always delivers, but when it comes to Elden Ring, it’s the closest thing to a flawless game we’ve seen in a while. However, there is still one thing that bothers many people, which is the difficulty of some aspects of the game.

If you have played Elden Ring, you must have witnessed one of the most epic battles in the history of the Soulsborne genre. Yes, we are talking about Radahn. While the setting and construction of the entire fight is absolutely top notch, the fight itself is a huge disappointment. But why is it so?

Well, the problem with Radahn is that even though he boasts some amazing flash attacks, they’re actually just too brutal. Now we know that the soft cap for Vigor is about 40 in Elden Ring, and even after reaching that level, the player still struggles immensely with the boss. Some of his attacks are almost inevitable for most players, especially the meteor strikes in the second phase.

There are a few cheese tricks out there for Radahn, but that’s not exactly how the game is played. There are plenty of NPCs that the player can summon to aid them in battle, but that makes the whole battle quite gimmicky and nothing more than a chore.

The second boss that the player presets is Gargoyles. Once again, what could have been a great boss fight is completely ruined with the poison attack the boss does. The poison effect builds up really quickly and once the gauge is full, a large amount of your HP will disappear. The whole fight is really challenging and fairly fair, but it’s the poison that makes it absolutely terrible.

These two boss battles are being compared to the Bed of Chaos, which has been called the worst boss in the history of Soulsborne simply because of the fact how badly designed it is. It would be interesting if From Software fixes these bosses, and if not two, at least reduces Radahn’s damage.
