Elden Ring Players planning to get the physical version of the game will need to download the Day 1 update to fix some major issues.
Elden Ring will officially hit theaters in less than 24 hours, and fans are extremely excited about the next big adventure in a world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki and George RR Martin.

With extremely positive reviews Elden Ring has received a lot of support from the media so far, it is hard for gamers to wait until the launch, even though it is 10 hours away from the launch date.
Elden Ring Day 1 Update Patch Notes
According to FromSoftware, Elden Ring will have the Day 1 update at launch. Players who purchase the digital version will receive the update as part of their game data, but if you’re going to buy the physical version of the game, you’ll need to download the update separately.

- Improved player controls
- Add and adjust BGM
- Text Adjustment
- Adjustment of balance
- NPC event fixes and adjustments
- Fixed frame rate drops under certain conditions
- Fixed text errors in some languages
- Also fixed a bug that caused Xbox wireless headsets to work properly
The file size of the update will be 13 GB on PC. There is no information about the file size on the control panel, but you can consider at least about 10 GB.
While PlayStation players with the physical version will be able to skip the update, we strongly recommend that you download the update before it starts running as the patch increasingly fixes a number of major issues including: including frame reduction.
Elden Ring will launch on February 25th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
