Elden Ring Boc the Seamster Locations Question: Should I have it tear the Larva?

Find Boc the Seamster’s location in Elden Ring allows players to change their clothes for free. Moreover, it will allow them to experience the story of a poor demi-human with a mud face and a heart of gold, and his story may be the saddest of the inhabitants of the Lands Between. Below, we’ll cover his journey and whether players should give Boc Larval Tear when he asks to be reincarnated.

Boc the Seamster is one of the few quests in the Elden Ring that doesn’t seem to have a (good) final ending. While it looks like we’re done with his quest, some puzzling requests can keep it going. However, we did not find any indication of this case.

First location: East Gatefront Ruins, Limgrave

The player will first encounter Boc the Seamster near the telescope in Limgrave. He will call, “Oi! You are there! Can you help us, extremely? You, yes, you are there! Don’t pretend you can’t see me”.

It can be difficult to figure out where the voice is coming from if the player doesn’t know what they’re looking for. Look for a small yellow tree and attack it. It will dispel the spell that turned Boc into a tree, and he will introduce himself. He will tell the player that he was jacked out of a cave he was living in and that they took all of his possessions. He gives the player 10 mushrooms then says that he intends to return to the cave for a well-deserved reward.

Second place: Coastal Caves, Limgrave

Unfortunately, Boc was stabbed while trying to get his property back. Players will have to clear the cave and destroy two Demi-Human Chief bosses to get Boc’s items back.

After giving Boc his Sewing Needle and Sewing Tool, he will thank the player and hit the road.

Third Place: Lake Facing Cliff Area, Liurnia of the Lakes

Pick will greet players and set up shop here for a while if met here. It is not obligatory to visit him here to continue his quest.

Fourth Place: East Raya Lucaria Gate of Grace Site, Liurnia of the Lakes

The player can also meet Boc here and change clothes. After talking to him, the player can chat with Melina about him at the next grace location they stop at.

Fifth Place: Grace’s Altus Highway Interchange, Altus . Plateau

Boc will present a small convoy and offer to make clothes for the player.

Sixth place: Grace Rampart site East of the Capital, Royal Capital Leyndell

When Boc arrives at the capital, he will have a lot of new dialogs. The player should allow him to call them lords and get him the Gold Stitching Needle from the Church of the Oath in Liurnia of the Lakes to move on to the end of the quest.

Should I give Boc the Larval Tear in Elden Ring?

Boc tells the player that he believes he is ugly and wishes to be reborn as a human using the Larval Tear. This is where the quest branched.

• Using Prattling Pate “You’re Beautiful”

Giving Boc a Larval Tear will end with his death. Players will find him at the Raya Lucaria Academy Grand Library with no response, and the next time they visit him, he will die.

The Great Rune of the Unborn’s descriptive text tells us why:

“The amber egg is gripped by Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. Great runes of unborn demigods.

Perfection those who were born new.

The children born to Rennala are very weak and short-lived. Imperfect beings, each and every one. ”

Since Boc did not have the Great Rune of the Unborn, he was reincarnated without memory and quickly died.

By using the Prattling Pate “You’re Beautiful” (which can be found in the Hermit Village in Mount Gelmir), Boc will overcome his desire to become human and move on. Unfortunately, after that, Boc disappeared from Leyndell at some point, and we haven’t found out where he went. We’re assuming he’s still alive, but for now, we’re not sure if his quest will end at this point as he’s already moved elsewhere. If not, we hope to find out what happens to him in the DLC.
