It might be a little embarrassing to admit, but I lost my keys twice during the month of March. That same month, I also left my wallet in a jacket that was accidentally left at the gym overnight. While you may be wondering how I’ve survived as a fully functioning adult so far, consider how easy it is to lose an important item like a wallet, phone, credit card, or keys. Given the number of scammers running around today, you might not even have to lose it for someone to get your credit card information and make fraudulent purchases.

One of the best ways to combat these risks is to invest in a smart wallet. While there are many solid smart wallets on the market, my personal favorite is the Ekster Parliament wallet. A solar-powered tracker allows me to keep track of my wallet at all times, even when I’m not carrying it. The built in tracker connects to an app on my phone which allows me to know exactly where my wallet is within a few meters. In addition, once I’m nearby, I can have the tracker play a ringtone to help me find it. This also works in the opposite direction if I’ve lost my phone but have my wallet with me.

While the tracker is certainly the biggest draw, the RFID protection also serves as a major benefit as all my cards are completely secure from anyone trying to scan them to steal my information.

From a purely purse-focused standpoint, the Ekster Parliament also stands out. Available in 9 different colors, you can choose the look that best suits your tastes, although personally I’ve stuck with Classic Brown. In addition, the main cardholder is probably the most interesting part of the entire wallet. Comfortably holds 5 cards, what makes the main card holder so unique is the quick access mechanism. I can press a button at the bottom of the wallet and the cards are spread out so I can select each one individually. If you’re a constant troublemaker like me, you can literally do this all day without getting remotely tired.

Outside of this, the Ekster Parliament has three other traditional pockets and an elasticated strap on the inside for extra items you might want to stash. The wallet is relatively thin in both width and thickness compared to more traditional wallets. This makes it much easier to slip into your pocket (even in skinny jeans). Despite this, the wallet still has a solid capacity. I comfortably fit 12 cards and the tracking card in the wallet without it looking bloated or crowded.

I could give you a million different reasons why you should buy this wallet, but the bottom line for me is that my cards are secure and my wallet is reasonably stylish. The Ekster Parliament is a good looking wallet that won’t wait for me to lose it at the next brain fart.
