Eddie Brock chases pet chicken in deleted ‘Venom 2’ scene

We’re gaining new insights into the mind of Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock – the sans symbiote – in a recently deleted scene taken to the grasslands from Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Before facing new threats of Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady / Carnage and Naomie Harris’ Frances Barrison / Shriek, in the first half of the film, we’ll be treated to a domestic spat subplot with Eddie and Venom, eventually leading to the monstrous Alien Creature with a penchant for eating human brains abandoning its host, leaving Eddie to live with his roommate in his apartment.
And it’s as if we need more of that goofy antics – almost like an episode of I love Lucy more than a dark supervillain study – we’re now getting a deleted scene where Eddie is cleaning up the rubble of one of his apartments, which culminates in the fate of the chickens Beloved of Venom, Sonny and Cher.
In the clip, we come from Collider, Eddie released the birds outside, wittily remarking as he shooed them away, “it’s never going to work.”
A sequel directed by Andy Serkis in 2018 Venom Select a year after the events of the previous film. Although the film received mixed reviews from critics, fans still seem to resonate with the film, as the film has now grossed over $400 million at the box office.
Depending on where you live, you might still be able to catch Venom: Let There Be Carnage in the cinema in some cases. However, the clip in question is to promote the film’s current availability on digital, as well as its upcoming 4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD releases on December 14.
