East Cleveland police motorcycle pursuit, crash

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that occurred during a chase by East Cleveland police.
According to East Cleveland Police Chief Scott Gardner, officers pursued a motorcyclist for reckless behavior around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
“There is a vehicle going north, as well as a motorcycle,” Gardner said FOX 8 I-Team. “The motorbike was about to pass, but the vehicle turned left into the store. The motorcycle T-Boned vehicle. I was informed that the motorcyclist had passed away. No injuries have been reported to the female driver.”
The sheriff said the crash happened near the 1200 block of Hayden.
