Dying Light is free to try on Steam this weekend

Techland’s 30th Anniversary Publishers Weekend Sale on Steam includes a free trial for Dying Light and massive discounts on several other games.
Steam is hardly the sole digital distributor of PC games. However, Valve’s platform is arguably the largest and most popular with PC gamers. Of course, there are several reasons for that, such as its vast library and ease of use. However, Steam sales, like the one at Techland this weekend, could be a big part of that.
In addition to scaling on many games, players can try the Standard Edition of Dying light free and decide later if they want to keep it. Besides, Wild west fans can download and keep Techland’s Juarez’s Call: Gunslinger free.
Techland’s “Publisher Weekend” sale starts today and runs until December 14. Dying light, however, it’s free to play only between today and Sunday, December 11. After Sunday, players will need to pay $11.99 to keep it forever. Meanwhile, fans can get Juarez’s Call: Gunslinger It’s free until the 14th and players can keep it forever without paying a dime. Other major deals include Dying Light: Platinum Edition for $14.99, original Juarez’s Call for $1.99 and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for $1.99. Sales page Techland also attracted attention with its 2000-vehicle combat first-person shooter for 99 cents.
All DLC for Dying light are also being promoted from 15% to 80% off depending on specific items. Alternatively, players can get the Techland 30th Anniversary bundle for $32.29. That package includes all the games mentioned above along with most Dying Light’s Season Pass, standalone hack and slash content God’s Activation, Pure Farming 2018, and Xpand Rally off-road racing game series. According to the Steam page, it’ll normally cost around $155 to buy each item individually, so it’s a good deal for anyone after a complete collection.
Remarkable, Dead Island Currently not available at reduced rates. This could be because Techland only develops the game rather than publishing it. Anyone looking to try the tropical zombie survival franchise will have to wait until the next Deep Silver sale on Steam. Pre-purchase of Dying Light 2 also full price of $60 for the Standard Edition, $80 for the Deluxe Editon and a whopping $100 for the Ultimate edition.
The last two details could bring some headwinds to this particular Steam sale. On the other hand, this weekend is a great opportunity for PC gamers to snag a few Techland games at a reduced price. However, the highlight is definitely Dying Light’s Comfortable weekend. For anyone who wants to try Techland’s popular experience parkour zombie survival game, now is probably the best chance they will get.
Dying light available on PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
