The Dutch windsurfer ready for his occasion by sharing an image of his new haircut on Instagram.

The look — a shiny blue arrow pointing ahead shaved into his head — was impressed by the character Aang from the tv present “Avatar: The Final Airbender.”

Within the present, Aang has the facility to govern the weather — a ability that Badloe hopes will translate to his time on the water in Tokyo.

“This haircut is a tribute to the one and solely true wind grasp,” Badloe wrote. “The Avatar, the Final Air Bender recognized to be alive. I hope the spirit of this nice warrior offers me the facility to sail effectively this week and use the wind in my favor.
