Draya Michele Looks to be publicly campaigning for her return as a Fenty ambassador

Draya Michele wants her job back!

In 2020, model, actress and swimwear designer Draya Michele lost her ambassadorship to Savage X Fenty after she was recorded unraveling an alleged domestic dispute between the rapper/songwriter Megan Pete, aka Megan Thee Stallion, rapper/singer/producer Daystar Peterson, aka Tory Laneze, and an old friend of Megan Kelsey Nicole.

This dispute, which is alleged to have occurred in July 2020, ended in Megan Thee Stallion supposedly, shot in the leg by Tory Laneze, Houston native hospitalized. Megan said that after the incident, she underwent surgery to remove the bullet. Tory Laneze, who was arrested that night on charges of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, countered this story, claiming to have never shot her.

As speculation continues to swirl around what happened that fateful night, Draya Michele and Van Lathan continued the conversation on the Wine & Weed Podcast, where they discussed their theory and commented on the limited information available at the time.

Draya clearly recorded.

I predicted that they had some kind Bobby and Whitney love has driven them down this tough road, and I’m here for it. I love it. I want you to like me a lot [that] you also shot me in the leg,” she continued by saying, “I want you to like me so much that if I’m trying to get out of the car and you’re like, ‘No, sit on your damn ass in the car. ” and I was like, “No nigga, I’m getting out of the car.” “No, you are not” *gunshot*”

This doesn’t sit well with many fans of Draya, Megan, and the Fenty Empire. Many people have mentioned that By Draya comment insensitive to Megan and Rihanna, as the billionaire was famously involved in a brutal domestic violence case in 2009. This led many to speculate that this is the reason. Rihanna and her team quickly pulled the link out Michele after the conversation went viral.

The comment was met with mixed reviews, with some outraged by her lack of empathy when she shed light on the situation where a woman was allegedly hospitalized during a family dispute. However, while By Draya comment wasn’t the wisest move, many others believe it didn’t require all of the backlash she received, including her loss as a Fenty ambassador.

Time has passed, and the tension has subsided, and Draya Michele wants her old job back!

In a recent Instagram story, Draya posted a photo of herself in a Fenty bra and shorts, reminiscing about the good old days, with the caption.

“I want my @savagexfenty trade back in 2022. Just a daydream.”
