Dr. is unimpressed with Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific’s Map Changes

As the new Caldera map release date approaches, Dr. Dionary believes that the upcoming changes to Warzone are unlikely to make things interesting.

Dr. is not impressed with Call of Duty Warzone Pacific Map Change

After many months of waiting, Call of Duty: Warzone Fans are about to experience a big update for battle royale. The main highlight of this update is the new Caldera map that replaces Verdansk. In addition, this new update brings anti-cheat system RICOCHET, changes to the Gulag allowing gun-wielding players to return to the arena if they win, and removing the Stop Power rounds. While many players were excited to see these new changes in action, streaming star Dr Dispect was less excited.

During a recent live stream from December 1st, Dr Disosystem revealed that the upcoming changes Battlefield with the Caldera map did not impress him. Discussion about the upcoming map started after he died in a battle royale game. His colleague is TimTheTatman tried to defend the changes, asking Doc to give a good reason for his opinion.

Unsurprisingly, Dr Disosystem was complacent by saying that the game studio needed to go big with some new improvements. According to Doc, developers need to do more to push the game forward. To continue his point, he put forward battle royale opponent Apex Legends. In the example, he explains how Respawn Entertainment developed the armor system in the game. The game was renewed by introducing Evo shields that allowed players to upgrade their armor by dealing damage. “That just takes it to the next level, for the gameplay,” he said. Obviously, this is the extent of game design change that the Document wants to see in an upcoming update Battlefield also.

After hearing Dr. Dispect express his dissatisfaction about upcoming changes Battlefield, TimTheTatman asked Doc what he would do to fix the game. His answer was surprising, to say the least. “I wanted to look at Unreal Engine,” he said. Given Dr Dispect’s extravagant claims over the years, it’s unclear whether he’s joking about the change or if he’s serious. However, considering that the game is built on the IW Engine, it’s hard to believe that rebuilding the game on a new engine would be possible. After this statement, he went back somewhat, commenting that he liked certain aspects of the current game engine.

Regardless of whether any of these comments were taken literally from working developers Call of Duty: Warzone, it seems that Dr. Dispect has made his point about the new changes to the game clear. It will be interesting to see if this streamer’s opinion of the Caldera map changes when it’s released on December 8th.
