Dota 2 Update 7.31 Release Time & Patch Details Today (February 23)

A brand new update for Dota 2 will be rolling out later today (February 23), bringing the game to version 7.31 with some changes and rework expected.

Although Valve kept their usual secret about the upcoming Dota 2 Update, we have an official release date and a preview of what’s to come. So here’s everything we know so far.

Official release date for upcoming Dota 2 patch 7.31 is Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Players can look forward to today update for release time 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm GMT.

Valve has been pretty tight-lipped around the upcoming Dota 2 updated, with official patch notes yet to be shared by the developers. However, we have some very small details on what to expect in 7.31.

According to the official Dota 2 Twitter accountToday’s patch will include a bunch of changes, including a rework of the controversial Techies Demolitions team.

Unfortunately, it’s currently unclear exactly how Techies will get back up and running. Many fans are hoping that a nerf will be included in today’s update, with many players even begging for them to be removed altogether.

There is also speculation in the community that patch 7.31 will include Primal Beast as a new playable object, as well as a brand new map, gold and experience value changes in lanes and zones jungle, new neutral items, and other hero changes.
