Dorit Kemsley Talks ‘Real Housewives,’ Iconic Style and Family Time – WWD

Since starring in the popular series “Real Housewives”, Dorit Kemsley has established herself as a trustworthy woman.

From the very beginning of the first season on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Kemsley has been known for his bold demeanor and style. She also has her own swimwear line called Beverly Beach, a new collection from her bridal collection with Nektaria and a real estate agent with her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley.

Currently filming her sixth season for “RHOBH,” the entrepreneur reflects on her time so far.

“‘Housewives’ [has become] it’s been a big part of my life,” Kemsley told WWD. “The entire cast is back and has some new faces and it’s been really exciting to meet and learn more about some very interesting people. It was a great experience for me and I was able to develop some great friendships that I believe will last a lifetime. ”

Plays with Kemsley in coming, not to mention the highly anticipated season 12 are Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Garcelle Beauvais, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Sutton Stracke and Diana Jenkins.

With her husband, Kemsley has two children, a son named Jagger and a daughter named Phoenix.

Like every housewife in the franchise, Kemsley has her own style with chic designer pieces and sought-after classics to turn revealing outfits into a piece of personality. hers.

“My style changes according to my mood. I think of myself as a mix of edgy and classic. I like to have fun with fashion, and sometimes I feel very bold and I want to really create a complete look, from head to toe,” says Kemsley. “I like to play even when doing my hair and makeup. Then, other times, I feel a little shorter, but I like to add my little stamp to everything, making it my own. ”

A striking feature of her appearance is her choice of hairstyles, especially hair accessories. Who could forget the “RHOBH” season nine reunion as Kemsley walked away in a silver sequined Balmain mini dress complete with an updo embellished with sparkly hairpins? “It was a memorable one. It was bold and definitely risky, but it felt right,” Kemsley recalls her outfit at the 2019 reunion. “I think that’s the beauty of it. fashion And that’s what I’m really excited about. I do it for myself.”

This year, Kemsley partnered with Amazon for the newest device Amazon Glow, an interactive projector and new video calling device.

Despite her career successes, Kemsley believes family comes first, especially since both she and the PK family live out of California. (Kemsley is from Connecticut while PK is from the UK.) During the holidays, PK was diagnosed with COVID-19 positive, so he had to self-isolate with his family at their home. “We’ve had a very low holiday season this year, that’s okay,” she said. “I think that’s what we needed and we tried to stay connected.”

With much to look forward to this year, such as her new real estate agent in London, another capsule collection with Nektaria and the 12th season of “RHOBH,” Kemsley said, above all, she She hopes to prioritize spending time with her family.
