Doorbell video shows arrest of Waukesha Christmas parade killer – After locals accidentally gave him sandwiches and coats

Unfortunately for them, a domestic dispute involving a serial felon, 39-year-old Darrell Brooks Jr, who was released on bail just two days earlier, ended with him fleeing, into his red SUV. A neighbor said his ex-girlfriend was seen ‘running away without shoes and with black eyes’.

After fleeing the scene, Brooks, who has been charged with five counts of murder, lunged at marchers, leaving what police responders said left a trail of carnage-like a war zone.

Brooks then allegedly ran away and ended up in the video shared by NBC News by resident Daniel Rider, Brooks.

In it, Brooks is seen wearing a T-shirt and shivering on Rider’s porch, knocking on the front door of the house. The video also shows Brooks surrounded by police officers, who shout at him to raise his hand as he stands on the stranger’s porch.

The timestamp on the video shows it was recorded just after 5 p.m. local time, about 20 minutes after Brooks allegedly tore through the barrier of the parade route, killing five people and injuring dozens more. .

“I called an Uber and I’m waiting for it here, but I don’t know when it’s coming,” he could be heard saying. “Can you call it for me? I’m not at home.”

In an interview, Rider, who was hunting and was watching football when the accident happened, said he was unaware of what had just happened a few blocks away.

He said he invited Brooks into the house and gave him a coat, made him a sandwich, and let him use his phone.

“Suddenly, I looked out into the street and saw a few police cars passing by and I became more and more worried,” he said.

Rider says he asked Brooks to leave, and he did. After Rider’s neighbors called the police, Brooks began “banging” on Rider’s front door, saying he had left his identification, Rider recalled.

“Then the next thing you know, you see the cop with the flashlight on him saying, ‘hands in the air, hands in the air.”

The Milwaukee DA’s office later released a statement that Brook’s low bail amount was a mistake, considering the crimes he has committed in the past.

In the end, the ineffective legal system, the nationwide unsecured push, and a possible clerical error allowed a very dangerous psychopath to hit the streets once again.

In less than 3 days, Brooks managed to end and change the lives of thousands, before eating a piece of bread and enjoying the warmth of a hospitable local who had no idea that he is proving comfortable with a monster.

It’s time to focus on protecting law-abiding citizens and start stopping and punishing rogues once again across the country.
