Doom Eternal fans can get bright purple armor when Xbox game passes Ultimate Perk
Doom Eternal has been a critically acclaimed title in the FPS genre, since its release in 2020. Some fans have even rated it as one of the best FPS games to come out in a while. period, this was reinforced by the game’s substantial post-launch support. Back in December of that year, Doom Eternal has been added to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass along with other AAA or indie hits added to the service. For fans of the game who have obtained the game through this service or are looking to subscribe to it, there will be a special cosmetic bonus for players Doom Eternal.
Doom Eternal released many cosmetic DLC, with some aesthetics that can be applied to the armor of the Doom Slayer. This includes nameplates, weapon skins, emblems, etc., which may or may not fully match the tone of the game. These options range from a set of armor with a golden sheen, to a very inappropriate unicorn-themed set that can be equipped. For players of Doom Eternal subscribed to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service, there will be three different sets of armor that can be obtained from this perk.
Most notably, one of the Doom Eternal skin equip the Doom Slayer into a sleek purple armor set, along with other cosmetics. All of these skins can be used in campaign mode, battle mode and in-game photo mode. In total, there are three new cosmetic packs for Doom Eternal that Game Pass subscribers can get. These are called “Arch Files”, “There can only be one”, and “Preaching” with each file having their own thematic set of content.
Included in these cosmetic packs are six weapon skins, nine player skins, nine nameplates, plus a total of 24 player icons. This makes it a huge amount of content, even if it’s just cosmetic for Doom Eternal. Players who specifically want purple themed armor should consider subscribing to the service.
This Xbox Game Pass perks is already available to Ultimate tier subscribers, and players will have until April 18 to get it. This code will also expire on May 18 of this year. There are also two separate versions, one for consoles, the other for PC. These can be found in the Perks library on the service’s menu. The Xbox Game Pass mobile app for iOS and Android will also allow players to claim these perks themselves. There are similar perks that come with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, such as a car jacket skin for Halo Infinite.
