Dominion director teases how old and new stars come together

Jurassic Park

Chris Pratt announced that next summer Jurassic World: Dominion will Avengers: Endgame afterward Jurassic World Franchising, and at the surface level, you can totally see what he’s getting at.

Was sitting outside Fallen Kingdom after handing power to JA Bayona, Colin Trevorrow has returned to the helm and has long acknowledged that the third installment in the second trilogy will serves as the final chapter of a series of six films begun by Steven Spielberg back in 1993.

Of course, it won’t be the end of Jurassic World by all means when the first two seasons add up to make almost $3 billion at the box office, but in an interview with Total movies, Trevorrow teased how the storylines of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard would run side-by-side with Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.

“Laura, Sam and Jeff have had many roles in the movie like Bryce and Chris. They’re not together the whole time, but we’re following their stories equally, and you get the feeling that they’ll collide at some point… there’s this tension. It doesn’t have to be structured the way we’re used to seeing in our Hollywood movies. But it worked.”

Looks like the creative team has listened to fans frustrated by Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm’s heavy presence in all Fallen Kingdom marketing, it’s a bit misleading as it effectively includes his total metrics. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom won’t make that mistake, and the prospect of seeing worlds collide as dinosaurs roam the planet for the first time in 65 million years makes it one of 2022’s hottest tickets.
