Does Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel have a crossover progression?

With the release Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, players can now duel and collect cards across multiple platforms. But, just like with Link Duel, there’s some baggage that might keep duels infrequently back on the platforms.

Master Duel is available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices, but there are a few steps you need to complete when setting up cross-progress for the game.

Instead of using standard cross-progress methods where players would log into one account and gain access to their saved data across multiple platforms, Konami is once again using a traditional system. your data so that players use their Konami ID to access their data across multiple devices.

After you download Master Duel, complete the instructions and give yourself a username, open the options menu and navigate to the Data Transfer section. From there, all you need to do is follow the instructions by opening the unique link provided to you, connect Master Duel user information with your Konami ID, then download the game on another platform.

When downloading Master Duel on another device, you won’t want to just start the game like you did before. Konami will even warn you that if you have previously saved data on another device, you will need to enable Data Transfer, which can be done from the title menu via the options bar.

Selecting Data Transfer from the header menu options will prompt you to open another Konami ID link and sign in. If you use the same account that you used before to sync Master Duel data on the original device, this will allow you to skip the tutorial and immediately start downloading the game’s files.

After completing this process, you will be able to open Master Duel on both devices and have immediate access to your saved data, even though you can only be signed in to one device at a time.
