Does Halo Infinite support aiming on PC and consoles?

The game’s multiplayer section launched earlier this week, with players taking part in competitive matches. However, does it support targeting to help players aim less accurately? Is there support for targeting Halo Infinite on PC?

Simply put, no. There is no aiming support built into the PC version of Halo Infinite.

This means that if you are using mouse and keyboard to control the Spartan of your choice, it all depends on the stability of the target. You won’t get any help pointing at the opponent’s player or assisting in ensuring your shots are steady. To combat the lack of this feature on PC, a lot of Halo Infinite players are plugging in an external controller. In other FPS games this will give you the opportunity to change the exact features of the target, but that is not the case in Halo Infinite.

Correct, some Reddit users confirm that they still feel unsupported, despite having the controller plugged into their PC. As a result, it doesn’t look like you won’t be able to get any help with the goal if you’re playing Halo Infinite on PC.

Is there support for Halo Infinite targeting on consoles?

On the other hand, Halo Infinite players on Xbox One and Series X/S have access to the feature. You will be able to adjust its strength in the menus, there is more help when pointing at the target or less.

Interestingly, it’s been a dream for console players to use a controller, while PC controller users aren’t at all. That’s something the Halo Infinite community isn’t entirely satisfied with either. This disparity can easily give console and attention players an advantage:
