Does Fortnite Ocean have a hidden Konami Code mini-game?

With the end of Chapter Two in Fortnite and a new Chapter and Season is coming, Epic Games once again stops people from playing Fortnite in a few days.

Anytime someone tries to login or play Fortnite, they are instead greeted with a scene of a character floating in the middle of the ocean and with nothing to do but watch some items drift by or click exit.

This leads many players to believe that, just like last season, a hidden mini game Konami Code is hiding and waiting to be found before launching. But is there any?

It will come as no surprise. At the end of Chapter One, while the player considered spatial density, entering the Konami code gave the player a mini-game to play. The feature was hugely popular the two days it went live, giving fans a way to pass the time in the meantime. Fortnite to reconnect.

Unfortunately for players looking for a new distraction in the menu screen, there doesn’t seem to be a Konami code mini-game in Chapter Two’s ending screen. Attempting to enter the legendary code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, Start) there were no minigames and the Fortnite corpse remained in place. Grabbing or clicking on any tile yields no results, and it looks like there really isn’t anything waiting for players this time as they stare at the wild green yonder.

Of course, Epic can always change this in the future. However, for now, players will have to deal with not playing Fortnite while they wait for the new season to come to an end — and there will be a transition period between Chapter One and Chapter Two, which could take a few days and players can only resume play on Monday morning.
