Dr Brytney Cobia said in a Facebook post on Sunday: “I am taking healthy young people into the hospital with a very serious COVID infection. “One of the last things they did before intubation was begged me for a vaccine. I held their hands and told them ‘I’m sorry, but it’s too late.’
In the post, which has nearly 2,000 likes and has been shared nearly 4,000 times, Cobia said she hopes her words will continue to encourage people to get vaccinated.
