DisguisedToast leaves Facebook Gaming, hints at Twitch’s return

Popular streamer DisguisedToast announces contract termination and departure from Facebook Gaming, hinting at Twitch’s return.

Facebook Gaming has quickly become a notable competitor to Twitchreigned as the leading live streaming platform for the past two years. At least part of that increase comes from Facebook Gaming signing streamer DisguisedToast, who in 2018 was one of Twitchgrowing talent. On Facebook, the celebrity of DisguisedToast rose to prominence as he became one of the most popular Between us online streamer. However, now that DisguisedToast’s contract with Facebook Gaming has ended, leaving many questioning where his next home will be.

DisguisedToast officially announced its departure from Facebook on Wednesday, November 16. In a post shared on both Facebook and Twitter, DisguisedToast announced, “Today marks my last day of live streaming on the platform.” He went on to say that the past two years have been some of the “best moments of my career” and that he wishes Facebook every success in the future. In the statement, DisguisedToast made no mention of where he was going or what his plans were.

A day later and DisguisedToast has yet to start streaming on the new platform. However, he has left behind what could be clues about his future plans. A friend and fellow streamer named Hafu replied to Toast’s Games on Facebook on Twitter, saying she’s thrilled to see Toast thrive wherever he goes next. Toast responds to Hafu, saying he might have to “move [her] from ‘friend’ to ‘rival’ again. “Hafu is notable for streaming on Twitch.

Many DisguisedToast fans are speculating that his post saying he’ll see Hafu as a “competitor” again means he’ll be back. stream on Twitch. That certainly seems like a very real possibility. Toast has been doing excursions back to Twitch over the past few months. His Facebook Gaming contract allows him to stream there, as long as it’s not for monetization and he keeps it to just chatting with friends. Looks like DisguisedToast is laying the groundwork for a return to Twitch, seeing if his viewership remains.

Until DisguisedToast moves, nothing is certain. For example, Toast can still decide to go to Youtube. It also fits that Hafu is competing, as Hafu drops Youtube videos almost daily.

It’s almost certain that DisguisedToast fans probably won’t have to wait long to see where the streamer is next, whether it’s Twitch, Youtube, or a mysterious background. Toast never stops streaming for long periods of time. Plus, he recently changed his logo, removing the hat from the toast image, perhaps indicating his excitement for a fresh start and a new Toast.
