Died by Daylight The Moon Event Will Start Tomorrow

Dead by Daylight’s popularity is still going strong, and this year’s Lunar event, scheduled to begin tomorrow, brings new content to the game.
Released in 2016, Dead by daylight has seen a surge in popularity, with a roster of original works as well as upgraded characters from the popular horror series. Behavior Interactive’s games are loved by streamers, with loads of big names surviving alongside others or players stalking as one of the killers. The studio also wants to keep things constant, with regular updates and events, and it looks like this year’s Lunar event will kick off this week.
According to a tweet from the developer a few days ago, Dead by daylight will launch “Lurking Stripes” tomorrow, with the event running until February 8. There doesn’t seem to be any word on when exactly it will start, but an article from HITC believes the event will starts at 8 a.m. Pacific Time, 11 a.m. ET, and 4 p.m. GMT. There are also some leaks about what the event will feature, which could include red envelopes appearing in the map that could provide rewards, including character skins.
It’s possible, though unconfirmed, that the new update will also feature firecrackers, possibly to celebrate Lunar New Year has become popular among the gaming community. At the time of writing, it doesn’t appear that the developer has shared any details on exactly what will be introduced for the event, so the information provided is best taken lightly. However, the leak comes from a source that is said to be quite accurate when it comes to the game, but readers are still advised to accept it with a pinch of salt.
Dead by daylight updated regularly with new chapters, such as last year’s “Portrait of a Murderer” patch, as well as the most recent chapter 22.5 update, brings with it the usual tweaks and improvements to the game. However, another thing that 22.5 also brings with it is a change to one of the killer features.
Recently there has been some controversy when people use DBD Skin masks to harass other players. Therefore, Behavior Interactive made the decision to remove this feature with the final update. Outside of that, the game continues to attract a lot of players on a regular basis. Its popularity with the streaming community probably helps keep it in the spotlight, and while the game and studio have had some backlash in the past, the Lunar “Lurking Stripes” event shows that the studio is still operating as it should.
Dead by daylight available for Mobile, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
