Blizzard Entertainment confirmed Diablo Immortal cross-play and cross-progress between PC and mobile, giving players more flexibility in how they can experience the game. How will Diablo Immortal crossplay and progression work?
As the developer noted in an official press release, Blizzard wants to ensure that the mobile experience works properly on Windows PC, which is why the PC version will be released at launch under open beta form. As Blizzard gathers player feedback and refines Diablo Immortal on PC, it will provide full support for crossplay and cross-progress to make it easier for players to team up with other adventurers.
Players starting Diablo Immortal on PC will need to log into their existing Battle.net account or create a new one; otherwise, players who start Diablo Immortal on mobile can either log in to their Battle.net account or use the guest account provided.
