Destiny 2 Players Get Gambit Cakes For Their Birthdays

Birthday celebrations can come in all shapes and sizes, whether it’s a simple evening with the family to a surprise party hosted by friends and family. No matter what the celebration is, a birthday isn’t complete without a cake to end the day with a sweet message and, sometimes, pull from the recipient’s fandom to make it happen. a little sweeter. One Fate 2 players received that with a birthday cake apparently gifted by the game’s rogue light and owner Gambit, The Drifter.
Gambit and The Drifter Introduced Fate 2 as part of 2018 Deny Expanding, pit two defending teams against each other in a competitive co-op game. Two teams are dropped into areas to kill enemies, collect motes, and bank them in a race to summon and kill a boss enemy to win. However, a player of the opposing team may infiltrate after a certain number has been issued to try to slow the progress of the opposing team.
Reddit user PharEway shared the Gambit-themed cake they received from their girlfriend as a surprise birthday present. The cake itself is black and topped with an interlocking twin snake coin Gambit on The Drifter’s coins, pendants, weapons and equipment. Unfortunately, PharEway didn’t clarify the flavor of the cake or whether the snake mark was baked into the cake, or just a frosting design.
Despite these lingering questions, other users were quick to praise the work included in the design of the cake to mark PharEway’s birthday. A common message in the comments was to tell PharEway that their girlfriend is a goalkeeper if she’s willing to put a lot of time and effort into it. Fate 2 birthday cake. All that said, one lingering question beyond just how delicious the cake is is whether PharEway is really a fan of Gambit. While the PvPvE mode was initially well received when Deny was released, its popularity seems to have waned over time despite Bungie’s changes to streamline the experience. A quick glance at social media and you’ll find that most players complain about the mode in one form or another, from outspoken criticisms to memes and clips trying to make players laugh. is different.
