Ever since her name was said for the first time, Savathun continued to cast a shadow over Fate 2 universe with her various deceptions. It’s this world of thrones that players got a fresh look at in the expansion’s latest trailer, and some are turning to science to try and solve some of the mysteries hidden within.

Savathun’s Throne World takes center stage in the aforementioned trailer, giving players a fresh look and plenty of tease of what’s in store Witch Queen. It was these teasers that caught the eye of Reddit user Sleepysaurus_Rex on Life-centric RaidSecrets subreddit. Sleepysaurus specifically points to numbers 16, 32,066, 80, 200.59 and [Xe]4f145d106s2 is only glimpsed in the trailer.

Many users were quick to point out in the comments that the combination of 16 with 32,066 and 80 with 200.59 is the atomic number and weight of sulfur and mercury, respectively. More Reddit users have been added [Xe]4f145d106s2 is the electron configuration of the element osmium.

Given the alchemical symbols present on Witch Queen, it is not surprising to see references to sulfur and mercury since these two elements, along with salt, are key to alchemy. The bigger question is what, if any, role these might play in the expansion as players battle Savathun. Given the alchemy’s focus on transformation, that could be Bungie’s way of delivering a legendary tale of Witch Queenweapon making The system will be used by the player.

The second of the three who received the most attention was Savathun, along with Xivu Arath and Oryx, members of the Osmium Court on the Basic Planet. It’s on Fundament, where three siblings meet the worm gods after their father, King Osmium, is betrayed by one of his biological mothers. The worm gods will imbue all three with their own worms, effectively spawning Hive while the siblings take their first steps toward becoming divine. This image of shared history is glimpsed in the trailer and may hold the key to defeating the cunning god Hive.

At the end of the day, all of this remains speculation until players get their hands on it Witch Queen in February. However, it highlights the excitement in Life community to expand as it was a confrontation nearly seven years in the making.
