Since my mom’s kitchen (her favorite hangout for the day) is often double my home office, I knew I needed to buy her a bike that’s super quiet and won’t distract me when Working. After much research, I landed on DeskCycle Under Desk Exercise bike.
My first thought when I found the bike was “$200!? What a great price for this little bike! “However, considering how life-changing I expected the bike to become, I decided it would be a good investment and I turned over the cash. I plopped down on the recliner in my mother’s living room, throwing in my headphones, and started riding when I read about the optional detachable pedal straps and lanyard that keep the bike in place on slippery floors. I don’t even care about Peloton (sorry, not sorry!) Because I just can’t get excited about getting my foot in the pedals on a bike that will never even leave the room. I admit that I can be a bit of a cyclist, so I was completely shocked by how much fun it was to ride this bike.
The DeskCycle Under Desk Bike is an easy (dare I say “lazy”) way to a quick workout at home or at the office. Eight levels of difficulty (which can be easily adjusted with a small knob) mean you can have an easy ride or really break a sweat, depending on your mood. Side note— you can also throw this bad boy on a desk or table and use it to exercise your arms.
The DeskCycle Under Exercise Pedal It’s more expensive than most bikes on the market but it’s lighter, quieter, more solid and the pedals are easier to push so I’m pretty happy with my purchase.
