Delvaux Names Ermanno Piraes Chief Brand Officer – WWD

BACK TO MY TABLE: Belgian leather goods manufacturer Delvaux announced the return of the former international communications director Ermanno Piraes as brand director, effective immediately.

Out in 2020, amid a tumultuous time that has seen a number of celebrity departures, including art director Christina Zeller, he is the second seasoned executive to return since. Delvaux acquired by Compagnie Financière Richemont in the summer.

In September, Jean-Marc Loubier, who led Delvaux’s global rejuvenation and expansion in the 2010s, returned as CEO for the second time.

Piraes will head the Brussels-based media division. His duties will include all journalism, public relations, events and digital media. He will also work closely with the creative, product, merchandising, and commercial territories of the leather goods company, including e-commerce.
