Deli Uses Its Sign To Warn Drivers Of Police Hiding Behind It – CBS DC

BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. (CBS Pittsburgh) – An attempt by a Pennsylvania business to ask drivers to slow down and avoid speeding fines has attracted the attention of police. PJ’S Deli, Catering and Bakery on the corner of Bower Hill and McLaughlin Runway is using its sign to try and get drivers to hit the brakes before it’s too late.
“Slow down… the police are hiding behind this sign,” the sign reads. True to its word, a black SUV was parked right behind it.
The Bridgeville Police Department stepped in and responded on social media.
“Well… I guess the jokes about us!!” police wrote, followed by smiling emojis and “SMH.”
The snack bar’s sign also featured other iconic lines like “‘Try’ the worst food you’ve ever eaten in your life'” according to some chicks on Facebook.
