DC’s Metro puts older cars back in service amid derailment-related delays

Metro riders have skilled waits so long as 40 minutes since mid-October, after a single automobile on a Blue Line practice slipped off the tracks outdoors the Arlington Cemetery station. The unbiased Washington Metrorail Security Fee ordered the company to tug its 7000-series automobiles, and the transit company has since been counting on about 25 % of its automobiles. They’re working to carry older mannequin 2000-, 3000- and 6000-series trains into the combo.
