DC Trucker SOTU Strongly protested when the Organizing Committee revised the number of permits to less than 500 people

The National Park Service approved a permit Monday night for a right-wing rally scheduled to happen in Washington, DC midday Tuesday in front of the President. Joe Biden’s Address of the State of the Union, according to documents reviewed by The Daily Beast.

In a permit application — first filed back on February 18 for a “Phase Free” event with the National Park Service and later taken back by The Daily Beast—Kyle Sefcikprotest organizers, advertised that up to 3,000 individuals could “hopefully” attend the event.

However, the now-revised park permit is predicting a drop in the initial 3,000 attendees, with the current number of fewer than 500 participants gathering outside. Washington Monument at the Sylvan Theatre.

“Permittee has revised its application to reduce the maximum expected crowd size to less than 500 attendees,” the approved and edited license now states.

As for what activities were on the agenda, the organizer listed on the permit that protesters at the eight-hour gathering would participate in a “Peaceful Rally/Meeting! Christian Music / Speakers Against Delegation. Support of convoys in Canada. Lifting duties in DC/USA. ”

Furthermore, in the original application, Sefcik adopted the unusual practice of answering questions on a government form with his own questions in extremely messy handwriting.

To one of the questions on the app about what tasks volunteers can perform, the organizer replied, “Do we need them?”

As for answering questions with more questions, Sefcik told The Daily Beast late Monday that he doesn’t see a problem. “Ya, I wanted to see if we needed certain people,” he said while claiming he had done “events of my whole life, very big events.”

Sefcik — is a MMA fighter and Maryland gubernatorial hopeful — continues to dodge the question of how many people will attend his gathering ahead of additional convoys of trucks scheduled to arrive in the city later this week.

“Brother, all I can say is that we both know it’s been seen by a lot of people in the United States, and I’m not talking about the numbers, but let’s just say that I know everyone. who will be there,” he said. “Just say it, I know someone will be there,” he added while proudly claiming his event had worried authorities in Washington.

“I have never had to work so hard in getting a permit before,” he continued. “No, I’m serious, man. I’ve spent 20 hours just in the last two weeks meeting them [Park Service] and every kind of government agency because I’m number one on their list. ”
