DC Council presses Bowser admin to reverse course on mask mission

Appearing on “The Politics Hour” Friday, Bowser said she doesn’t expect many DC residents to change their current behavior even though restrictions have been eased. Those with young children will probably still limit travel, avoid social bubbles and try to avoid overly large crowds, she said. As for herself, she will mostly continue to wear a mask indoors to protect her preschool daughter. “It’s kept me safe for the past 20 months, I’ve been dealing with covid in person and going home to my ineligible baby.”
