DB . Method Squat Review

In the pre-pandemic days, I was a fitness junkie — and if I squint when I look in the mirror, possibly the best shape of my life. Like many gyms, when the gyms are closed, I try to adjust to working out at home. My device collection is so slim and without a big budget, I stuck to the basics. Aside from a few weights, straps, and mats, the biggest purchase I made was the DB Method. And I will never stop using this magic squat machine, even when the gyms reopen.
While their marketing is heavily focused on building your “asset,” this machine caught my attention for several reasons, including affordability. I also don’t have a lot of space, so the fact that I can fold the couch in an apartment minute is important. I also appreciate that it’s a manual machine that doesn’t use electricity because there are fewer breaks and no wires to entangle.
I love doing squats; They are great for fitness, aesthetics and support the joints as we age. And I squat comfortably, but worry that one day my already noisy knee might get tired. Then I found the DB Method – a machine that turns squats into a cardio exercise while taking all the pressure off your joints. It took weeks (OK, months) before I felt in perfect shape — the trick is to lean back to relieve pressure on your knees and hips, while still focusing on your body. Although my first training session lasted only five minutes, my feet felt it the next day. In addition to painless squats, the exercises incorporate variations like movements and beats to target different muscles.
There are tons of free videos from the brand’s trainers on YouTube, so the workout doesn’t get monotonous. Workout videos are typically five to ten minutes long; some sets you are encouraged to do twice in a row if you like. Also, check out the monthly workout schedule online, with different daily workouts for the whole month to help you stay motivated.
Finally, I added the DB Method accessories including a belt and weight strap along with a clip, both of which I use for other exercises. These have taken my training to the next level. Bands used in plies? The burn is real and as such, very good. The cuff is designed to be more flexible and sturdier than a regular exercise band that just slides in.
The DB method has helped me get the most toned thighs ever. My muscles are strong without being bulky, and yes – asset what is eliminated from working at a desk all day has also grown admirably. Now my knees don’t creak as much, and I have stopped using the brace. While I’m slowly considering getting back into the gym, there are times when I just want the adrenaline rush that comes with a short workout before the day starts or stay home in extreme weather. harsh. I’m grateful to have had this machine for the past few years and can’t imagine stopping using it.
