Date A Live IV is scheduled to premiere in April 2022

A new promotional video for the upcoming Date A Live IV The anime began streaming on the series’ site on Monday. The second full promotional video reveals the show’s new theme song artists and new cast along with Released in April 2022.

The opening theme song, “OveR”, will be voiced by actress Miyu Tomita (Made in Abyss’ Riko, We Never Learn’s Rizu Ogata). The ending theme, “SOS,” will be performed by the sweet ARMS voice actors, who have worked on theme songs for the film before.

Akari Kageyama (Himouto! By Umaru-chan Nana Ebina) will star as Mokuro Hoshimiya, with Hitomi Nabatame ( Destiny series ‘Bazett) joins as Nia Honjō. The upcoming fourth season of the popular sci-fi/harem anime was originally scheduled to air in October 2021, but was pushed back to Spring 2022 for undisclosed reasons.

Illustrated by former Idea Factory character designer Tsunako, Kōshi Tachibana’s Live Dating The light novel series runs from 2011-2020. The series is part of Fujimi Shobo’s imprint Fujimi Fantasia Bunko, serialized in Dragon Magazine. The series has inspired an anime adaptation, various video games, and several spin-offs.

The Live Dating the anime first aired in 2013, with 12-anime episode adaptation by AIC Plus+ aired in Spring 2013. IMS producer animated a second 10-episode series a year later. After a seven-year gap, JCStaff has been animating a third 12-episode series, which will air in Winter 2019. Geek Toys, the studio behind both Day A Bullet film adaptation, is taking over the fourth season.

Jun Nakagawa (Movie High School Fleet, Day A Bullet) will take over as series director for season four. Keitaro Motonaga (Persona 3 the Movie 3: Falling Down, Katanagatari) directed the first three seasons of the anime as well as 2015 Date A Live: The Movie – Mayuri Judgment movie.

Yen Press publishes light novels in English and Funimation licensed the anime.
