Danganronpa Creation Team announces new dark fantasy game, Enigma: Rain Code archive

It’s been more than a decade since players were first welcomed into the sacred halls of Peak Hope Academy. Danganronpais the first killing game. Now, the main creative team behind Danganronpa The series has come together once again to work on a new title: coming Enigma Archives: Rain Code.
Relatively few have been released regarding Enigma Archives: Rain Code so far, but the referral site has been up. The website makes it clear that unlike the game inspired by Danganronpa, Enigma Archives: Rain Code will inherit the iconic stylized design of its predecessor.
According to the teaser website, Enigma Archives: Rain Code will offer a “dark fantasy paranormal” experience to gamers, which means it’s likely to be an urban fantasy game. NS Danganronpa series has been compared and contrasted with Persona in the past, so it could be interesting to see the creative team behind Danganronpa tackle an evocative story and setting Persona. Whatever it is, the key images and a few screenshots seem to suggest that mazes, ghostly ghosts, pink blood, and long, ominous black cloaks will be involved.
Are known, Danganronpa Creator and script director Kazutaka Kodaka will write the story about Enigma Archives: Rain CodeMasafumi Takada is composing the soundtrack and Rui Komatsuzaki is designing the characters. Relatively little is known about the main characters, but it seems that the hero is a small boy with pink hair dressed in the usual ‘dumb hair’ style all three Danganronpa Game‘protagonist.
The heroine, meanwhile, is a tall girl with even pinker hair, an elaborate gothic dress, and horns. She wears her long, wavy dresses in a distinctive roll pattern that resembles the horns of a lot. Fan Danganronpa can find some visual similarities between her and The infamous Junko Enoshima, though it remains to be seen what role she will play.
One of the screenshots appears to show the protagonist standing on a body, presumably to investigate. Not sure if yes or no Enigma Archives: Rain Code will combine Danganronpaiconic test system or use more standard fantasy mechanics. Either way, the screenshots draw attention to an elaborately decorated city that seems to combine a steampunk aesthetic with vibrant neon lights.
Both Danganronpa and Persona the game takes place in a relatively normal world that collides with something scary, but while Persona soon attracted the supernatural, Danganronpa at least theoretically still rooted in practice. What series? Enigma Archives: Rain Code will follow in the footsteps of the remains seen.
