Cyberpunk 2077 Mod Adds Androids and Companion Drones

Its flaws aside, this is becoming less of an issue thanks to important updates, Cyberpunk 2077 is a wonderfully executed open-world experience, with a compelling story and a beautiful living setting. Given its enormity and the fact that it stars Keanu Reeves, it’s no surprise that it’s one of the most expensive video games ever made. However, this is a solitary game, even with all the NPCs, but now a new mod has been released that can make players feel less lonely.

Created and uploaded by a user named Scissors, “Drone Companions” is a fan-made add-on for Cyberpunk 2077 that, as the name suggests, allows the player to have a non-human associate to keep them company. It works by deploying a new operating system called TechDeck, which then allows to build a series of drones that will follow players around and even fight for them. One video shows the user creating a couple of androids, then starting to rush forward after the battle breaks out. Companions can also get in and out of vehicles and engage in gunfights while on the road.

Suppose, I think Cyberpunk 2077 there’s no multiplayer mode, at least not yet, which could be the closest thing fans can get to playing with others in Night City. There have been discussions about CD Projekt Red adding multiplayer to the game, and it was, in fact, supposed to be part of the initial launch, but there’s been no sign of that since. No one really knows when this feature will be added, but hopefully the multiplayer feature is something that is scheduled to launch soon. For now, “Drone Companions” is a neat alternative.

A game of this caliber is already quite extensive, but the modding community is constantly coming up with additional content or general tweaks. Most recently, someone made a mod for Cybperunk 2077 adds support for AMD’s FSR 2.0 upgrade. There’s also a flying car assembly, an image restoration one shown at E3 2018, and much more.

Cyberpunk 2077 may have had one of the most pathetic debuts in recent game history, but many people are ready to forgive, even if they can’t yet forget. The huge patch that was released earlier this year certainly made a lot of improvements and a lot of players were finally able to get the full game experience and appreciate the work CDPR has put in. it, especially after its release.

Cyberpunk 2077 currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
