It will be a while before players forget the experience that was the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red’s dystopian sci-fi RPG has been heavily criticized for its flawed release. However, there were a few other complaints fans had with the game when it first came out, one of which had to do with it Cyberpunk 2077 Night City, which wasn’t as vibrant as it could have been because many of the game’s buildings were inaccessible and unexplorable.
Aside from a few key points such as Cyberpunk 2077 Arasaka Corporation’s headquarters didn’t have many buildings for a player to walk around and explore at will. A modder on the Cyberpunk 2077 Nexus wants to change that. Kratoes created their own unofficial content patch mod for Cyberpunk 2077which gives players a new interior space to find and walk around in. Specifically, the mod opens the Red, White, and Used Repair Shop in Santo Domingo, which is south of the river in Night City’s industrial area.
Getting into the repair shop isn’t that easy, as a player must enter through a side alley before they can access an elevator that grants them access. As soon as a player gets into the garage, they will find that the interior is not huge, but it is well made. Wires are scattered across the floor, and there are tools, workbenches, and many other items you would expect to find in a futuristic repair shop. There’s also a powerful sniper rifle for those looking to loot the store. It’s not one of Cyberpunk 2077 unique snipers, it can be a useful weapon to stock up on a player’s arsenal.
Although Kratoes’ building is well done, not much can be done with it at this time. For example, it cannot become a player’s headquarters. However, it is interesting that a modder managed to break in and change one of them Cyberpunk 2077 Buildings to give it a little more life and increase the immersion in the game. Hopefully there will be more building overhauls over time Cyberpunk 2077which breathes a little more life into every location in Night City.
The modding community for Cyberpunk 2077 has been active since the game was first released, and while many of these modders initially helped get the game working for as many players as possible, they are now creating some unique and major changes to the game. A mod was even brought back Cyberpunk 2077 famous E3 2018 visuals for example.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
