Cyberpunk 2077 Celebrate anniversaries with a fancy watch, but who cares?

Cyberpunk 2077 The blockchain watch is said to be a pleasant surprise by CD Projekt RED for the upcoming celebration. So rejoice, please!

Cyberpunk 2077 went through a nightmare debut as a three-A project with huge hype surrounding it. It was disastrous when a large number of players requested a refund and Sony decided to remove it from the PlayStation Store.

Unfortunately, the situation is increasing as new updates and patches don’t arrive soon enough, making it almost impossible for late generation players to play the game.

A year later, and the game still doesn’t look close enough to what was promised in the marketing campaign and trailer, both in the current generation as well as the final one.

Last update for Cyberpunk 2077 was released back in September 2021, just a small hotfix. So it’s been almost 3 months without any updates and the only thing players have is the doubtful hope of the game’s next generation update slated to launch in early 2022. .

While the look of the watch barely gives off any cyberpunk vibes, there’s something inside of it that takes you one step closer to the future.

The T-2077 watch, created in partnership with Blonie Watch, features a blockchain validation program that allows you to guarantee watch ownership through a blockchain contract.

Developed in partnership with the company Arianee, you will have access to this blockchain contract using the company’s dedicated app, and whenever you decide to sell it to someone else, you will be able to transfer Watch ownership through the application on the blockchain.

This certainly sounds futuristic, but the point here is that this watch is probably the last Cyberpunk 2077 fans will ask for anniversaries. The timing for this announcement is perhaps more frustrating than exciting for fans who are expecting a big drop in the game.
