CyberpowerPC’s Kinetic Series Smart Air Flow Box is clearly the future

CES 2022 is in full swing, with announcements and revelations falling left and right. And while RTX 3050 and RTX 3090 Ti Very interesting reveal, the frontrunner for the most striking design is the Kinetic Series case by CyperpowerPC.

As one of the biggest names in prebuilt gaming PCs, CyberpowerPC often uses bright RGB lighting in its builds to showcase its aesthetic prowess. The company is taking that flair and implementing it into a more practical model with the Kinetic Series case, which features smart airflow in the form of 18 copper-colored self-adjusting vents. Combining form and function, the Kinetic Series box will look more like home on a desk in Wild outside or any other sci-fi title.

The 18 forward-facing vents “open and close according to your system’s internal temperature and cooling needs,” according to CyberpowerPC’s official announcement page. CyberpowerPC aims to “create an explosion of innovation across the industry….” With its highly conceptual design and potential benefits of self-regulating case temperatures, it’s certain that everyone — and other companies — will keep an eye on how things are going for the case. Kinetic Series machines.

Despite the note from Kinetic architecture, there is one argument that can be made against having a case of self-regulating airflow using vents: Why not just add more Airflow? In the announcement video, CyberpowerPC mentions its goal as provide the right amount of wind for any given situation.

Another concern is the lack of a dust filter on the large wall of the vent. Owning a unique, sci-fi-looking PC case is great and all, but the need for more cleaning and dusting can be a major shortcut for potential buyers. However, the concept alone is enough to overlook some of the eyebrow-raising factors.

CyberpowerPC hasn’t revealed any release or pricing information, although the highly conceptual design and additional technology will likely raise the price tag on Kinetic Series cases. The closest thing to the release date is a card that says “Coming soon”, which could mean we’ll be sitting on our hands until the third day. Matrix The trio debuted.

The Kinetic Series case announcement is just one of many exciting revelations so far at CES 2022. The showcase runs from January 5 to 8.
