Cross-World Pity System Guide – FandomSpot

The Pity system gives players a guaranteed chance of getting a specific rarity of companion or gear after spending enough currencies, such as:

  • diamonds
  • Companion Summon Tickets
  • Equipment Summon Tickets
  • Gear Crafting Recipes (Weapons & Armor)

There are currently several gachas in the game that have a pity system in place.

Here’s each of them and some explanations of what they are and how the Pity system works for them individually:

Event Summon, Equipment Summon, and Companion Summon

In Event Summoning, Equipment Summoning, and Companion Summoning – all Pity systems have a mechanic called Loyalty Points.

You get loyalty points after every single move you make.

You get 1 loyalty point When you spend diamonds, you only get 0.5 loyalty points when you spend summon tickets.

Event Summon

Event Summons are time-limited banners, which means that once a banner included in the Event Summon is replaced with another banner, all Loyalty Points will be reset.

For Event Summons, the Pity system is set to:

rarity Loyalty points required
Guaranteed 4★ 100 loyalty points
Guaranteed Event 4★ (Rare) 200 loyalty points

summon equipment

Equipment Summoning offers higher rates than Equipment Crafting.

Still, I advise against spending any of your diamonds on it – especially if you’re F2P.

For gear summoning, the pity system is set to:

rarity Loyalty points required
Guaranteed 4★ 100 loyalty points
Guaranteed 4★ (Rare) 200 loyalty points

Known Summon

Known Summon

Companion Summoning is very similar to Event Summoning in that you can draw companions from it.

The only difference is that the loyalty points are included in the companion summon Not can be reset at any time and is valid indefinitely.

Because of this, F2P players should choose Familiar Summon over Event Summon if they want a guaranteed chance of getting a 4★ Rare Familiar in the long run.

For familiar summoning, the pity system is also set to:

rarity Loyalty points required
Guaranteed 4★ 100 loyalty points
Guaranteed 4★ (Rare) 200 loyalty points

Gear Crafting (Weapons & Armor)

Armor Crafting / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
armor crafting

For F2P players and bargain hunters, crafting gear is the best way to get weapons and armor of all rarities.

The pity system for weapon and armor crafting is shared.

This means the pity system for both will advance and reset every time you get the guaranteed move, regardless of whether you’ve crafted a weapon or armor.

Weapon Crafting / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
weapon manufacture

For crafting weapons and armor, the Pity system is set to:

rarity Crafted weapons/armor required
Guaranteed 3★ Crafted 30 weapons/armor
Guaranteed 3★ Crafted 90 weapons/armor
Guaranteed 4★ (with 1% chance of rare 4★) Crafted 200 Weapons Weapons/Armor
