LONDON – Craig Green will be returning home to London, with plans to hold a fall/winter 2022 gig the week of February 7.

The off-schedule show will mark Green’s first time showing his collection in London since June 2019 during the city’s menswear showcase.

His performance will take place about 10 days before gender neutral London Fashion Week, which runs from February 18 to 22.

In May, to announce the spring collection, he has released 30 sets of books and a limited number of printed Tyvek posters, featuring images from his collaboration with London-based photographer Jack Davison. Green gave them away for free to the public at Dover Street Market in London.

That spring/summer 2021 collection focuses on the brand’s more commercial offerings.

Fur coat styles – such as quilted jackets, padded vests, parkas, button-down shirts and hoodies and lace trims – come in pine green, beige, color raisin purple and midnight blue, and take center stage in the season’s look book.

In January 2020, Green made Launched at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, presents his fall/winter 2020 collection at an all-white venue in the Marais.

Guests at that show included Pierpaolo Piccioli, Clare Waight Keller, Charles Jeffrey, Michèle Lamy, Dover Street Market’s Adrian Joffe, an early supporter of Green’s, and Trino Verkade, who worked closely with Green at Sarabande, the Lee Alexander McQueen foundation.

That year’s Paris collection was poetic – especially the white gowns with wildflowers and the gowns decorated with padded flowers. It’s also worth noting, especially the lively constructions like the tents that close the screen. Craig Green shows off the Fall/Winter 2022 Collection in London in February – WWD
