Covid-19 vaccination: India has administered nearly 40 crore doses so far

According to official data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India has administered almost 40 doses of the anti-Covid vaccine so far.

According to data, as of 7:00 am on July 17, the whole country had 39,96,95,879 doses of vaccine injected nationwide, including 31,86,65,226 first doses and 8,10,30,653 second doses.

42,112,557 people were vaccinated in the last 24 hours. Of these, 24,46,076 received the first stab while 17,66,481 received the second.

As for the State tally, Uttar Pradesh is leading in first dose with 3,35,23,481 doses. Followed by Maharashtra with 3,00,53,656 doses and Rajasthan with 2,24,26,945 doses.

Maharashtra is leading on the second dose with 88,41,609 second doses administered. This was followed by West Bengal with 72,30,472 doses and Gujarat with 66,95,070 doses.

Uttar Pradesh is leading in terms of total doses used with 3,99,35,718 doses. Next was Maharashtra with a total of 3,88,95,265 doses administered and Gujarat with 2,90,37,420.

The number of coronavirus infections in India is more than 31 million. According to official data, active downloads currently stand at 4,24,025, down 6,397. The number of patients cured/discharged/migrated increased by 43,916 people to 3,02,27,792 people. According to official data, there were 560 new deaths reported, bringing the death toll to 4,13,091 people.
