COVID-19-delayed Chopin piano competition opens in Poland

Chopin, Poland’s greatest identified and beloved classical music composer and pianist, was born in 1810 in Zelazowa Wola close to Warsaw to a Polish mom and a French father. He left Poland at 19 to broaden his music schooling in Vienna after which in Paris, the place he settled, composing, giving live shows and educating piano.
